Clinical Internship Training Program
The FSU 咨询中心 provides mental health services to matriculated undergraduate and graduate students. The Center’s clinical staff is composed of Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSW’s), a Psychologist, 而且(最典型的) final year MSW students in training. 该中心提供个人, 夫妻及团体辅导, 向教员咨询, staff, and families, and outreach programming to the larger university community.

The FSU 咨询中心 provides high quality mental health care to FSU students, and thus is committed to the clinical training program of graduate students who train at the Center. Supervision is a highly valued and supported component of the training experience, as are weekly professional development trainings, case conferences, and other learning opportunities. The focus of the training program is on helping trainees to develop both professionally and personally in preparation for entering the mental health field.

- Provide primarily individual counseling to students (typically 10-12 client hours/week)
- Two hours of individual supervision/week
- One hour of group/peer supervision/week
- Participation in outreach programming
- Participation in professional development training seminars and staff meetings
- Option to create, market, and co-lead, psychotherapy/support groups
Qualifications
- Applicants must be in the final year of the MSW program and have had at least one year of clinical experience, preferably with some individual counseling experience.
